El Camino Shawl
This shawl is inspired by the different roads we take in life that bring us to unexpected events and encounters.
Designing this shawl has been the cause of a lot of introspection for me. I am happy I decided to name it “El Camino Shawl” as I often wonder if this is where I am supposed to be. In my heart I feel yes, but sometimes the mind likes to argue with the heart.
Despite all this I keep going. I feel that maybe questioning yourself lets you get to that uncomfortable place where everything looks like it is falling apart and then it all magically falls into place.
This shawl is an ode to the path of life, the way we choose, the roads we travel.
This is a triangle shaped shawl, with a very easy to follow pattern that allows for mindless stockinette knitting combined with sections where you create a more intricate design using purls and knits.
