Kind Socks
This sock pattern is inspired by the kids who have been separated from their parents at the border. The pattern consists of slipped stitches that symbolize a hug, and the spaces created by the yarn overs represent the absence of a person.
Allison Barnes Yarn created the colors for this inspired by Frida Kahlo’s house in Mexico City, known as La Casa Azul. The house is now a museum.
