Tea Time Wrap
“If you are cold, tea will warm you; if you are too heated, it will cool you; If you are depressed, it will cheer you; If you are excited, it will calm you.” ― William Ewart Gladstone
Tea has such a delicate way of refreshing our spirit, it is the smell, the way the water begins to color, that first sip and the way it washes away any kind of heavy weight you’ve been experiencing; and much like knitting it has become a very important part of my daily self-care rituals. It centers me; it helps me clear my mind and feel more like myself again.
This design is my way of celebrating self-care. A way to encourage you to sit down, get lost in the stitches and the textures clearing your mind of your daily struggles. It is the combination of subtle textures and bold color combinations, a way of acknowledging that rough times are always accompanied by some kind of softness that surrounds.
The Tea Time Wrap is designed to keep you interested by combining a simple lace design with garter and stockinette stitch sections. The combination of mohair and fingering weight yarn will fall around your shoulders and neck, engulfing you in warmth and softness.
